Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Carism mobile app operated by Happytrip. By creating an account or using Carism, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Carism. You sign in with a Google or Apple account and are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. The service

Carism matches four people from four different countries into private groups. Each group runs on a seven-day cycle during which members may share short videos (up to 10 seconds each, subject to daily limits) visible only to that group. The free plan includes up to two ongoing groups at a time; paid memberships may be offered later.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the service as it evolves, and daily limits or group mechanics may be adjusted to keep the service healthy.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos you record. By posting a video to a group, you grant Happytrip a limited, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, and display that video to the members of that group, solely to operate the service. This license ends when your video or account is deleted, except for short-lived backups.

You are responsible for what you film and share. Only post content you have the right to share, and be mindful of other people who may appear in your videos.

5. Rules of conduct

Carism is four strangers trusting each other with their everyday. Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes anyone's rights or privacy. Do not misuse the service — no spam, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to access other groups' content.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Termination

You can stop using Carism and delete your account at any time from the My page. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service and its members.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Carism is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happytrip disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
